Data Sell Side

For data sellers

Could your company’s data be valuable to AI buyers?

Some businesses can license data for AI training or evaluation. The opportunity depends on your data, the rights to use it, and a buyer’s needs. We represent the business owner.

  • Get your data ready. Rights reviewed, scope set, packaged to license.
  • Approach potential AI buyers. Explore buyer fit and compare the terms of any offers.
  • Negotiate with your interests first. Price, scope, rights, term, deletion, payment timing.

We work for the owner alone.

Nothing moves without the owner's written approval.

The problem.

Understand the opportunity before agreeing to terms.

A data licensing offer involves more than a price. Permitted uses, exclusivity, duration, delivery, and payment timing all matter. We help owners prepare for those discussions and assess the terms in context.

What buyers pay for.

Years of history

Long records show how decisions changed.

Connected workflows

Work that moves across email, chat, tickets, and CRM.

Decision and exception logs

Why a call was made, and what happened when the process failed.

Documented language

Clean, primarily English documentation with a clear owner.

Our current screening criteria focus on companies with 30 or more employees and mature documentation. Meeting these criteria does not establish buyer interest.

Five steps. Your approval at each one.

  1. Prepare

We get your data ready. What you own, what you can license, and what stays out. Settled before any buyer sees it.

  2. Estimate

An indicative range, not an offer.

  3. Compare offers

Approach relevant buyers and compare any offers across their full terms. An offer is not guaranteed.

  4. Negotiate

Scope, term, exclusivity, deletion rights, usage reporting, payment timing.

  5. Approve and close

Your counsel reviews. Nothing signed without written approval.

We are not a marketplace, and we never represent buyers.

Selectivity.

We take a small number of companies at a time.

If your operation is outside our current criteria, or your data cannot be shared, we will say so on the first call.

Questions owners ask

Can I sell my company’s data?

Potentially. You need data relevant to a buyer, the rights to license it, and a practical way to prepare and share it. A licence defines permitted uses of particular data; it does not mean selling your business.

Will AI companies buy my company’s data?

There is no automatic buyer. Relevance, quality, documentation and permitted uses determine whether a dataset fits a buyer’s requirements. An estimator cannot confirm buyer interest.

What affects its value?

Historical coverage, completeness, uniqueness, preparation costs and the proposed licence terms all affect a potential transaction. Volume alone is not enough.

Do I need to upload documents?

No. This estimator runs in your browser. You can choose to email your summary when you want to discuss representation.
